New-look statements.

We’ve been hard at work to make your bank statements simpler and easier to read, and we’re happy to report that we’ve made some great improvements.

View your new-look statement guide here.

NEW BSB.

As part of these changes your account now has a brand new BSB number: 944 600. Your old BSB number will still keep working, so you won't need to update any payment arrangements you've already set up.

STATEMENT SPLIT.

Your next account statement will be split in two: you’ll get one old-style statement, and a second one with the new-look format. They’ll come separately, but both should arrive at the same time.
Keep in mind that you’ll only get both statements once. After that, you’ll just receive the new-look
statement.

DIRECT DEBITS.

We no longer process debit transactions when there are insufficient funds in an account. If your account doesn’t have enough funds, the payment won’t be processed and you’ll be charged a dishonour fee. If you have any direct debits, loan repayments or cheques that withdraw money from your account, simply make sure you’ve got enough funds to cover the withdrawal.

Building transaction descriptions.

It’s now even easier to see exactly where your money’s going. We’re making the transaction details on your accounts clearer, and more informative and streamlined.

Better transaction descriptions.

Your transactions have been simplified into single entries with clearer descriptions, for more clarity around what each payment was for.

Separate cash-out listings.

If you get cash out with an EFTPOS purchase, the cash out and purchase parts of your transaction will be listed separately. This helps to break things down and remove the guesswork.

Clearer international transactions.

Overseas purchases will be shown in both their original currency and Australian dollars, and will include a breakdown of any cross-border and international fees that apply.

Pending transactions.

See in real time when you have made a payment and keep track of all your pending transactions on your Everyday Transaction Account in internet banking.
