ME Bank has today announced interest rate changes for variable home loan customers, following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) decision to increase the cash rate by 0.25%.  

From 21 March 2026, ME Bank variable home loan interest rates will increase by 0.25% per annum (p.a.) for new and existing customers.   

Support available for customers 

ME has a range of online resources available including home loan calculators.

Customers who are concerned about their financial position or experiencing financial difficulty are encouraged to contact ME’s dedicated Customer Assistance team as soon as possible on 1300 500 520 between 8:30am – 5:00pm AEST, Monday to Friday.

Customers are encouraged to call the ME Bank team on 13 15 63 if they require further assistance or clarification regarding today's announcement.
