Activating your card.

Just got your new card in the mail? Before you can get out there and put it to use, you’ll need to activate it and choose a 4-digit PIN. This will be used to make purchases so it needs to be secure (not your birthdate or anything too easy)!
 
You can do this using the classic ME Bank app, ME Go app or on internet banking.


Support Accordion Widget (c#)

ME Go app.

1. Log in to the app.
2. Tap the icon in the bottom menu. 
3. Tap ‘Manage cards’ in the menu. 
4. Select the account you want to activate the card for.
5. Tap ‘Activate card’.
6. Enter your desired PIN by entering it twice. 
7. Enter the one-time code we send you to confirm the change. Done!

Support Accordion Widget (c#)

ME Bank app.

1. Log in to the app.
2. Tap the  icon on the bottom menu bar.
3. Swipe to select which card you’re activating.
4. Enter the last 8 digits of your card number, then tap ‘Activate card’.
5. Set your new PIN by entering it twice. 
6. Tap ‘Activate card’, and you’re good to go.

Internet banking.

If you’ve got a card waiting to be activated, you’ll see a notification when you sign in to internet banking.

1. Log in to internet banking.
2. See the notification in your ‘to do’ list, near the top of the page? Click ‘do it.’
3. Choose the card you’re activating and set a 4-digit PIN.
4. Start the SMS confirmation process (using the code we’ll send you).
5. Enter the confirmation code and your card is ready to go.
