1. Your new card is on the way
It’s being sent to the address you have with ME Bank. Hang onto it, we’ll let you know when it’s ready to activate.
2. You'll get your new login details
BOQ Specialist will send you an email and SMS with everything you need to log in to Internet Banking and the Mobile App.
3. Download the BOQ Specialist app
Once you have your login details, you can download and access the BOQ Specialist app. We’ve included links and step-by-step instructions below to help you get started.
4. Activate your card
When your card is ready to be used, you get an SMS from BOQ Specialist with steps on how to "unblock your card" through the BOQ Specialist Mobile App or Internet Banking.
5. Update your direct debits
Your account details have changed, so be sure to update any direct debits or recurring payments with your new BOQ Specialist account information.
Set up your mobile and register your account.
To access your new BOQ Specialist Platinum Credit Card account, you’ll need to:
1. Download the BOQ Specialist Mobile Banking app, and
2. Download the VIP Access app to securely log in.
Once you’ve got the apps, you’re good to go.
Just use the VIP Access app and the Client number & Temporary password to register — we’ve sent these to you via SMS.

Logging in for the first time.
1. Launch the BOQ Specialist Mobile Banking app on your mobile.
2. Select “First time signing in?”
3. Enter your Client number and temporary password (sent to you by SMS).
4. Launch the VIP Access app on your mobile.
5. Enter your Credential ID and Security Code from the VIP Access app.
6. Follow the steps to accept terms and conditions, set an access pin and the optional biometric login.
7. Create a new 6-12 character alphanumeric password.
8. Set at least three security questions.

You can re-establish direct debits once you receive your new BOQ Specialist Platinum credit card and have activated your account. You will receive an email from BOQ Specialist Brand to get your started.

Once your BOQ Specialist Platinum card account is established, you will receive login and activation details via SMS. These details will help you get started with BOQ Specialist online banking and the mobile app.

Please wait until you have received your first statement for your BOQS credit card (via your preferred method of post or email) before making a payment to your card. Your statement will provide information on how to pay your BOQS card for the first time.

What rewards can I earn with the BOQ Specialist Platinum Credit Card?
You can earn 0.4 Qantas Points or Velocity Points per $1 spent on eligible domestic purchases up to $3,000 per statement period, and 0.2 points per $1 thereafter up to a capped amount of $5,000. For eligible international purchases, you earn 0.5 points per $1 (no cap).
How does BOQ Specialist ensure my purchases are secure?
The card provides 24/7 purchase security through Visa Secure, Eftpos Secure, and fraud monitoring.
How many interest-free days do I get on purchases?
Your interest-free period starts the day your card account is opened. To keep enjoying interest-free days, simply pay your full Closing Balance by the due date on each monthly statement.
If you miss a payment, interest will start being charged from the day after your payment was due.
Just a reminder: interest-free days don’t apply to cash advances or balance transfers at any time.
Is there a concierge service available?
Yes, the card includes concierge and Front Line Access provided by Visa.

What are the new minimum repayment requirements?
The minimum repayment will be $20 or 2% of the closing balance, whichever is greater.
What is the interest-free period on the new card?
Interest free period on the BOQ Specialist Platinum card is 55 days.
Do I need to update my direct debits and recurring transactions?
Yes, you will need to update any existing direct debits and recurring transactions with your new replacement credit card details once you receive your card.
Will my direct debit repayment agreement be affected?
No, your existing direct debit agreement will be transferred from ME to BOQ Specialist, allowing you to continue making repayments by direct debit without interruption.
Can I pay my BOQ Specialist Platinum credit card bill using BPAY?
Yes, you can pay your BOQ Specialist Platinum credit card bill using BPAY. Use the BOQ Specialist biller code 745729 and your 16‑digit BOQ Specialist credit card number as the payment reference.
Can I get support for my BOQ Specialist credit card at a BOQ branch?
No, BOQ Specialist products are serviced separately from BOQ branches. For support with your BOQ Specialist Platinum credit card, please contact the BOQ Specialist Client Service Centre on 1300 160 160.
Will my interest rate and credit limit change?
No, your replacement BOQ Specialist Platinum card will have the same interest rate and credit limit as your current ME credit card.
Will there be an annual fee for the new card?
No, there will be no annual fee for your new card.
Are there any changes to fees?
Yes, the Duplicate or Interim Statement Fee will increase to $10 per request. However, there will be no late payment fee, and there is no cash advance fee on your replacement BOQ Specialist Platinum card.
