If your device already has Fingerprint, Touch or Face ID set up with your ID stored, when you first register the ME app, you’ll automatically be asked if you want to use biometrics to log in.

You can always choose to switch biometric ID on or off inside your ME app, if you change your mind later.

Using biometric ID is a great way to secure your accounts, since there’s no chance of anyone seeing you putting in a PIN.

Just make sure you don’t enable biometric ID for the ME app if anyone else has biometric IDs stored on your device. Otherwise they’ll also be able to get access to your app – and to your ME bank accounts.


Mobile app

  1. Log in to the mobile app

  2. Tap ‘More’ in the bottom menu

  3. Depending on your device, you will see Fingerprint, Touch or Face ID. Toggle the switch to ‘on’.
