Opening an account for a child

ME doesn’t have specific accounts for children, but we can open a Term Deposit for your child, as long as they are at least 12 years old.
 
You can apply for a Term Deposit online, or you can give us a call and we'll help you through the application, but you'll still need a computer to submit the application.
 
Additionally, if your child is 16 or older, they can sign up for an Everyday Transaction Account online.
