Customers are #1 to ME, so we’re always listening to your feedback and working toward improving your experiences. And our exciting new ME Go app and new everyday banking accounts have been developed to give you all the things you’ve been asking for – as well as more things we know you’re going to love.
Moving your everyday banking
accounts – soon.
If you have an Everyday Transaction Account or Online Savings Account only, they will be moved to the new ME Go app soon, which means you will be able to keep your account number, direct debits and saved payees.
In the meantime, you can continue to use the existing ME Bank app or internet banking for your everyday banking needs.
Moving your other banking accounts – later.
We’re working towards all ME products, including home loans, term deposits and credit cards, being available in the ME Go app.
We will keep you updated about moving you over, and until then, you can continue to use your same accounts as you normally would, within our existing ME Bank app and internet banking.
What now?
Stay put – there is nothing you need to do as you won’t be able to view your current accounts in the new ME Go app just yet.
ME will tap you on the shoulder and let you know when we will move your everyday banking accounts over to the ME Go app - hassle free.
If you’d like to use the ME Go app sooner, you'll need to sign up as a new customer and create new accounts. This means you'll be issued a new set of BSB and account numbers and a new Visa debit card.
What is ME Go? Where can I find out more about the new app and products ?
ME Go is our new mobile banking app which will be available from June 2023.
ME Go will have new features such as real time inbound and outbound payments, personalised savings goals and round ups. It will also be the only place you’ll find ME’s exciting new transaction and savings products specifically designed to help you get ahead:
- SpendME – feel good about your spending with an Everyday Transaction Account and a linked debit Visa card. Plus ME will donate 1c to the charity linked to your Visa Debit card, every time you tap with your digital wallet. With the donation on ME!
- SaveME – a savings account with bonus interest1 to help you reach your goals even faster (and nine separate accounts to help you reach all of them faster).
- HomeME – get in the front door of your first home sooner with the high interest2 earning savings account, specifically designed for those saving for a deposit.
ME Go’s transaction and savings accounts are just the first step towards our new and improved digital experience. We plan to offer more products including home loans, term deposits and credit cards on ME Go but like all good things, this will take time. As we continue to work on our ME Go product and features roadmap, we will be in touch with updates.

What if I wanted to use the new app now and open a SpendME, SaveME or HomeME account/s?
Opening a new ME Go account before you are moved over will mean that you will have a dual app experience as your existing ME products are not available on ME Go.
You will also receive a new Visa Debit card, a new bank account number and BSB and will need to download the new ME Go app. If you are thinking of downloading ME Go and opening a new account before you are moved over, please read the below support articles:

Why have you launched ME Go?
We’ve been listening to what our customers want from their banking experience. Our new mobile app, ME Go, will ensure banking is simple and continues to provide seamless and socially-conscious banking to help make money good for customers.
What do I need to do now?
You don’t need to do anything, we will be in touch when its time to move you and your accounts across to the new ME Go app, so please ensure your contact details are up-to-date. This will be aligned to when all your products are available to access through ME Go.

This is general information only and has been prepared without taking into account your personal and financial objectives, situation or needs. You should consider if these products are right for you before acting on it.
1. The Bonus Interest Rate applicable to your SaveME Account will apply:
For each calendar month where:
- You made four or more card transactions in the previous calendar month using the Visa debit card linked to a SpendME Account in the same name (sole name account) or names (joint name accounts) as your SaveME Account. Transactions that are pending do not count as a transaction for the previous calendar month and will be counted in the following calendar month; and
- To the combined balance of your SaveME Accounts up to a maximum combined SaveME Account balance of $500,000.
If you don't meet all of these bonus conditions you will receive variable base rate interest only, however in any month we may without notice waive the requirement for you to meet all of these conditions.
2. The Bonus Interest Rate applicable to your HomeME Account will apply:
For each calendar month where:
- A minimum of $2,000 was deposited into your SpendME Account in the previous calendar month from an External Account. The SpendME Account to which money is deposited must be held in the same name (sole name account) or names (joint names account) as your HomeME Account;
- The closing balance of your HomeME Account on the last day of the previous calendar month was higher than the closing balance of your HomeME Account on the last day of the calendar month before that (excluding interest paid by ME or any adjustments processed by ME).
- To the balance of your HomeME Account up to $1,000,000.
If you don't meet all of these bonus interest conditions you will receive variable base rate interest only, however in any month we may without notice waive the requirement for you to meet all of these conditions.
