Need to hunt down an elusive transaction? Keen to see what your money’s been up to? Here’s how to search your transactions like a pro using your app or internet banking.

Mobile App

  1. Log in to the mobile app.
  2. Choose the account you want to search from the home screen.
  3. Select the  icon in the top right corner.
  4. Here you can search the credit/debit type, define a date range, amount and transaction type. Once these are defined, tap search.
  5. A list will appear with all relevant transactions.

Internet banking

  1. Log in to internet banking.

  2. Click ‘accounts’ in the top menu, and choose ‘view transactions’.

  3. Choose the account you want to search from the dropdown menu.

  4. Select either a ‘simple’ or ‘advanced’ search. A simple search lets you see all the transactions in set time periods; advanced search lets you search by keywords, amounts and date ranges.

  5. If you choose simple search, just choose a time period to complete your search. For an advanced search, hit ‘search’ once you’ve entered your search terms.

Saving your results

Want to save your search results for posterity? Here’s how:

  1. Click the ‘export all’ button at the bottom of the page.

  2. Choose how you want your transactions to be saved – select PDF if you want something you can print out, or CSV if you want to open the results in a spreadsheet.

  3. Click ‘export’ – your file should start to download. Don’t see your file? Some browsers may block the pop-up window that downloads the file to your computer. When you hit ‘export’, watch for a ‘pop-up blocked’ message – and if you see one, click on the alert to tell the browser to allow your file to download.

Need to view a transaction more than two years old?

We keep your transaction history for up to seven years, and you can download these in your account statements.
Here’s how you find your online statements in internet banking and the mobile app.
